Realme 11 Pro+: official teasers confirm design

The Realme 11 series comes to the stage on May 10th. It is already known that at least one of the models will have a circular camera island and a sleek, leather-like design on the back. Today the company gave a full look at the smartphone and confirmed that the Realme 11 Pro+ does indeed have leather and fabric on the back. The color’s official name is Sunrise Beige.

According to a recent press release, Realme co-developed the design with Matteo Menotto, currently Head of Design for Textile at Bvlgari, formerly a senior designer at Gucci. The inspiration came from the sunrise in a romantic city and the phone uses “soft leather, weaved fabric, hand-sewn together”. The direction is clear – Realme wants to position the 11 Pro+ in the premium segment.

The top and bottom of the Realme smartphone is flat. But the sides of the AMOLED display are clearly curved, which also fits with the premium claim. The images also confirm a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS, likely with a Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor underneath. More teasers for the Realme 11 Pro+ should come before the start in two weeks.

The press release also revealed that we should only expect the Realme 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ at next month’s event. The duo will come in three colors – apart from Sunrise Beige we also get Oasis Green and Astral Black. However, there is no information yet as to whether there will also be leather-fabric options.
