The Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ were launched today with 108MP main cameras, large 5,000mAh batteries with fast charging, and Android 13.
Realme 10 Pro
The 10 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is based on a 6 Nm process. The basic version already has 256 GB of storage. There is also 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The 10 Pro is based on a 6.72-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080p. The screen refresh rate is 120 Hz and the touch sampling rate is 240 Hz. According to Realme, the panel achieves a brightness of 680 nits. The fingerprint sensor is in the power button.
The 108 megapixel main camera is based on a Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor. The chip has a size of 1/1.67 inch with 0.64 μm pixels and a nonapixel pattern (9-in-1 binning). In addition, there is only a 2 megapixel depth sensor. A 16 megapixel selfie camera is located in a punch hole.
The 5,000 mAh battery charges with 33 watts. The Realme 10 Pro has dual SIM slots and also supports dual 5G standby, but there is no microSD slot. In addition, the two new models frame the premiere of Realme UI 4.0, based on Android 13.
The Realme 10 Pro will be sold in three colors starting November 24 – Blue gradient, plain Black and Star Light. Prices start at CNY 1,599 ($225) for the 8/256 GB version and go up to CNY 1,899 ($265) for the 12/256 GB version.
Realme 10 Pro+
The Realme 10 Pro+ is powered by a Dimensity 1080 chipset. Oddly enough, the base version only has 8/128 GB, less than the Pro. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display has a 1080p resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling rate. The 10-bit panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and achieves a peak brightness of 800 nits.
The 2.5D panel has 61-degree curved sides, which is a first for the Realme number series. This, together with the relatively low weight of 173 g, should make the Pro+ feel pretty good in the hand. Apart from the camera module, the Pro+ is only 7.78 mm thick, despite the large 5,000 mAh battery with 67 watts of charging power.
The 108 megapixel camera has a 6P f/1.75 lens. There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view and an f/2.2 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera for close-ups from 4cm. The selfie camera sits in a punch hole and has a resolution of 16 megapixels. The Pro+ also runs Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0. In addition to dual 5G standby, there’s also NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, and dual-frequency GNSS.
Prices start at 1,699 CNY ($240) for the 8/128 GB version. 8/256 GB cost 1,999 CNY ($280) and 12/256 GB go for 2,399 CNY ($336). The first sale is scheduled for next Thursday, November 24th.
