Oppo today introduced the new Reno series in China. It includes three phones – the Oppo Reno10, Reno10 Pro and Reno10 Pro+.
Oppo Reno10 Pro+
The Oppo Reno10 Pro+ is an upper mid-range smartphone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 16 GB RAM as well as the MariSilicon X NPU. It has a 10-bit OLED display with a diagonal of 6.74 inches and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The resolution is 2,772 x 1,240 pixels.

On the back of the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ is a powerful 50-megapixel main camera, as well as a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with triple optical zoom and OIS. The third camera is an 8 megapixel ultra wide. There is also a 32 megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The Oppo Reno10 Pro+ comes with a 4,700 mAh battery that charges at a fast 100 watts via Oppo’s SuperVOOC 2.0 standard. The official launch is on June 1st in three color options – black, gold and purple. Prices start at 4,299 CNY ($610/€565).
Oppo Reno10 Pro
While the Oppo Reno10 Pro looks similar to the Pro+ with the oval camera island and large, bright display, it features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and retains the MariSilicon X NPU. The 6.74-inch OLED display corresponds to the Pro+ with its refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels. There is a punch hole for the 32 megapixel selfie camera.

On the back of the Reno10 Pro is a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The telephoto lens has a resolution of 32 megapixels and shoots at 2x optical zoom, while the 8 megapixel ultra wide is identical. The battery capacity is 4,600 mAh, but the charging speed remains at 100 watts. The appropriate charger is part of the scope of delivery for the entire Reno10 series.
The Oppo Reno10 Pro comes with 16GB of RAM and two storage options: 256GB or 512GB. Pricing for the Pro starts at 2,899 CNY ($410/€380) and it will be available in blue, black or gold colors from June 1st.
Oppo Reno10
The Oppo Reno10 sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor and comes with three storage options – 8/128GB, 12 /256GB and 12/512GB. The largest version has fast LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

On the back there is a 64-megapixel main camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a 6P lens. The Reno10 shares the 32-megapixel 2x telephoto and 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with the Pro, as does the 32-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus and an f/2.4 aperture. The battery capacity is 4,600 mAh and the charging speed is up to 80 watts. After 11 minutes you reach 50% and after 29 minutes 100%.
The latest ColorOS 13.1 runs on the Oppo Reno10 series, which offers, among other things, a smarter and faster gps location for selected apps. There is also a graphite cooling system with a vapor chamber for heat dissipation. You can choose between blue, black and gold colors. Prices start at 2,499 CNY, which is around $355/€330. Pre-orders are already open, while sales start on June 1st.
Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether the new Oppo phones will also hit the international markets. Especially since the previous series Reno9 hasn’t even made it out of China yet.
