Oppo is expected to launch its new Find X6 flagship series later this month. There is a very good chance that a new tablet will also appear at the event – the Oppo Pad 2. Tipster Digital Chat Station dug up a schematic drawing and the first specifications of the upcoming tablet.

Accordingly, the Oppo Pad 2 will support a new “Smart Touch” keyboard, with a trackpad and a stand built in. It’s not entirely clear what “smart touch” means in this case. Oppo never released its own keyboard, neither for the original Pad nor for the Pad Air. Also in the picture is a stylus, which DCS says is a new model (OPN2201). The tipster also stated that the Oppo Pad 2 will offer a much more polished experience overall.
Oppo Pad 2 with Snapdragon 888
Next to the Oppo Pad 2 you can see an Oppo Find X6, which is probably a nod to Oppo Connect. With Oppo Connect you can seamlessly connect different Oppo devices to each other and to Windows computers. For example, you can drag and drop files or copy a file on one device and paste it on another. There’s support for a second screen and more.
The Oppo Pad 2 recently showed up on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 888 chipset and 8GB of RAM. The original pad was powered by a Snapdragon 870. A Dimensity 9000 version was already haunting the rumor mill without leaving any lasting traces. A 3C certification revealed support for 67 watts of fast charging without revealing the battery capacity, which is said to be at 9,500 mAh. The Pad 2 is also expected to feature an 11.6-inch, 144 Hz, 2,800 x 2,000 pixel LCD display. The original 11-inch pad had a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
