The Oppo Find X7 Ultra with satellite communication is now also available. However, only with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
Oppo Find X7 Ultra

Oppo launched the Find X7 Ultra in the first days of 2024 with the first dual periscope camera and a version for satellite communication. Three months later, the version with satellite communication is finally available on the China Telecom website. The carrier’s listing revealed a new model number, more storage, and a new price that reflects the expanded feature set.

The Oppo Find X7 Ultra with model number PHY120 will have 1TB of storage. That’s twice as much as the current top version on the market in China. Accordingly, the price for the new variant also increases. Oppo is asking CNY 7,999 (€1,028/$1,107), which is a 15% increase over the current price of the 16/512 GB model without SatCom.

Cell phones with satellite communications can send messages to a satellite orbiting the Earth. In contrast, cell phones connect to a cell tower that forwards the data.

Unfortunately, Oppo doesn’t plan to launch the Find X7 Ultra outside of China, but the next generation of the Find series will be available internationally. We also don’t know the official shipping date of the Find X7 Ultra with satellite communication. We expect it to happen on March 29th when Oppo hosts an event in China.
