The upcoming Oppo Find X6 series has been in the rumor mill for a while. Quite detailed technical data have already come to light, as well as renderings of the Oppo smartphones. Now there are the first real pictures of the Find X6. The images come from the Chinese social media platform Weibo and indicate a remarkable camera setup.
The mobile phone is obviously a test device. It was spotted by Weibo users, which now gives us a first glimpse of the actual design. And it seems that the renderings were correct. The Oppo Find X6 features a curved display with a small punch hole for the selfie camera. On the back is a fairly large, rectangular camera module reminiscent of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The camera island is so large that the Oppo smartphone tilts forward stably on a straight surface.
Based on the latest leaked specs, the Oppo Find X6 Pro will sport a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor and a 23mm equivalent focal length. A 50 megapixel ultra-wide with a Sony IMX 890 sensor and an IMX 766 or IMX 890 telephoto lens with a triple optical zoom are also said to be on board.
The regular Oppo Find X6 is expected to bring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and OIS. A 50 megapixel ultrawide and a 50 megapixel tele also haunt the rumor mill. The Find X6 Pro is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, while the base model is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
