Oppo Find X6 Pro gets extremely bright Samsung display

The Oppo Find X6 Pro's 6.8-inch Samsung E6 panel is said to be able to reach a local peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X6 Pro will have an extremely bright Samsung display. The 6.8-inch Samsung E6 panel is said to be able to achieve a local peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits. It also supports 10-bit color, a QHD+ resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The tipster also shared the individual colorways of the upcoming flagship. There will be a leather version called Desert Silver Moon which is 9.5mm thick and weighs 216g. The upper part consists of a small pane of glass. The other two variants, Flying Spring Green and Cloud Ink Black, are made entirely of glass on the back and are thinner at 9.1 mm, but slightly heavier at 218 g.

The base model Oppo Find X6 starts with only a glass exterior, a thickness of 8.96mm and a weight of 207g. It will be available in Flying Spring Green, Starry Sky Black, and Snow Mountain Gold. Also, according to several reports, Oppo is preparing two versions – with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and with a Dimensity 9200 processor. Today’s report, on the other hand, only sees the dimensity model on the horizon.

In contrast, the Oppo Find X6 Pro has the currently fastest Android chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 under the hood. The chipset works with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, although that exact configuration might come to a special edition. There will be three 50-megapixel main cameras with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor on top. The ultra-wide and zoom camera use a 1/1.56-inch IMX890 sensor instead. The selfie camera uses a 32-megapixel RGBW sensor, the Sony IMX709. A MariSilicon X2 ISP, a 3D ToF sensor and a 13-channel multispectral ambient light sensor are also on board.

Based on a previous report from DCS, the Find X6 Pro will support 100W SuperVOOC charging, while the base model will charge at 80W. There is no official release date for the Oppo Find X6 series yet.
