The Oppo Find X6 series is expected in the first quarter of 2023. According to a new rumor from tipster Digital Chat Station, the Find X6 Pro will have three 50-megapixel cameras with Sony sensors on the back. The Chinese insider also revealed new details about the lenses used.
The 50 megapixel main camera of the Find X6 Pro therefore has the 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, which is also installed in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The main camera will have an aperture of f/1.8, a 7P lens and optical image stabilization (OIS). The focal length is 23 mm. An IMX890 sensor sits under the 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The same chip already works in the main camera of the Oppo Find N2. It has a size of 1/1.56 inch, but Oppo combines it with an f/2.2 lens in the N2.
The telephoto lens gets either a Sony IMX766 or also the IMX890 and has an optical magnification of about factor 3. The equivalent focal length is 64 mm. OIS is also available here, while the aperture is at f/2.6. DCS also commented on the selfie camera. Here, Oppo is said to be using the 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor, which debuted with the Reno7 series.
