New rumors from the Chinese social network Weibo indicate that the Oppo Find N3 will support wireless charging. That would be a first in Oppo’s lineup of foldables to date. There should also be several flagship cameras on board, as well as first-class displays and batteries.

Unfortunately, the report does not provide any concrete figures to support these claims. So far, we already know that the Oppo Find N3 will have a larger 8-inch main display with a resolution of 2,268 x 2,440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The cover display should have a diagonal of 6.5 inches, which would put the N3 clearly ahead of its main competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and its 6.2-inch display. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset sits at the helm and can access up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.

The battery, on the other hand, has a mediocre capacity of 4,805 mAh according to the leak, but charges with a fairly fast 80 watts. The camera setup is spearheaded by a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor. We also get a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultra-wide and a 32-megapixel periscope zoom camera with an L07D1W22 chip. As usual with foldables, there are two selfie cameras, one in the cover display and one in the main display. In the case of the Oppo Find N3, these each have a resolution of 32 megapixels. Oppo could launch the Find N3 as early as August, hopefully outside of China too.
