Oppo today unveiled its latest foldable clamshell phone, the Find N3 Flip. It represents an evolution of last year’s Find N2 Flip, with this year’s big update being the Hasselblad camera system. On the one hand there is a revised 48 megapixel ultra wide camera with a field of view of 114 degrees. On the other hand, there is a new 32 megapixel portrait camera with a focal length of 47 mm, which means double the optical zoom. The 50 megapixel main camera has a 24 mm lens with an f/1.8 aperture and 1.0 µm pixels and optical image stabilization.

The size of the 3.26-inch AMOLED cover display remains the same but now offers more features. You can use all kinds of apps and widgets without having to unfold your Oppo Find N3 Flip. The keynote also mentioned support for multiple travel, navigation, music and social networking apps, as well as smart key integration for newer cars.

The Oppo smartphone also got a new chipset – the MediaTek Dimensity 9200, which works together with fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage in the Find N3 Flip. One of the few design changes is the new alarm slider, which, like OnePlus smartphones, has three positions.

The rest of the features are nearly identical to last year’s Find N2 Flip. This includes a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED main display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,520 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 1 – 120 Hz. The panel is made of ultra-thin glass (UTG) and achieves a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. ColorOS 13.2 based on Android 13 is used as the user interface. The battery still has a capacity of 4,300 mAh and still supports fast charging with 44 watts.

Oppo Find N3 Flip prices

The Oppo Find N3 Flip is available in black, gold and rose colors. The 12/256GB version costs 6,799 CNY (€859/$932), while the 12/512 GB version is priced at 7,599 CNY (€960/$1,042).

The Find N3 Flip is already available for pre-order in China, while open sales will start on September 8th. Oppo did not provide any information on international prices, but promised that the foldable will soon be available worldwide.
