OnePlus announced its first-ever tablet in early February, obviously named OnePlus Pad. The international version of the OnePlus 11 was also on the scene at the time. Unlike the OnePlus cell phone, however, the tablet was not immediately available. That doesn’t change today, but OnePlus just announced the start date. Accordingly, the OnePlus Pad can only be pre-ordered from April 10th. However, it is still unknown when the Chinese will actually start delivering.
On the plus side, the company promises that if you pre-order the OnePlus Pad, you’ll get an “amazing gift you’ll love.” As you can already guess, the amazing gift also remains OnePlus’ secret for now. In addition to pre-ordering on April 10th, to qualify, you must also make a deposit. You pay the rest of the price later, probably shortly before the tablet is shipped.
What you can already do is fill out the Notify Me form linked below on the OnePlus website. This automatically takes you into a sweepstake and gives you the chance to win a OnePlus Pad or a pair of OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earphones. In addition, you will of course be notified as soon as the tablet is available.
The OnePlus Pad has an 11.61-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,000 x 2,800 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset in combination with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. There is a 13-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 9,510 mAh battery that charges at 67 watts via cable. The operating system is Android 13 with the OnePlus interface OxygenOS 13.1. The only color option, at least at launch, is Halo Green.
