The upcoming foldable OnePlus phone, which should actually be called OnePlus Fold, has now appeared again in the rumor mill with the name OnePlus Open. The most important technical data are also already known. The well-known tipster Max Jambor has now summarized them again and added some new information. On the one hand the new name and on the other hand the information that the OnePlus Open is most likely based on the Oppo Find N2.

The design of the OnePlus Open should at least be slightly adapted. The form factor is the same as on the Oppo Find N2. Thus, we can expect a 5.54-inch outer display and a 7.1-inch LTPO main display, each with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Since the Find N2 is only available in China, OnePlus won’t compete with the sibling on the global markets.
According to recent rumours, the OnePlus Open will be launched on August 29th and will also be sold in the USA.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro passes Geekbench test
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is now popping up in the rumor mill every other day, and mostly with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. OnePlus itself is still stubbornly silent on the subject. But the smartphone has just appeared on Geekbench with the model code PJA110. In doing so, some important specifications came to light.

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro ran Geekbench with Android 13 and 16GB of RAM on board. An octa-core processor is also noted, which is probably the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 again. Geekbench shows its typical model designation “kalama” in the “motherboard” section.
The Geekbench database does not reveal any further technical data of the OnePlus PJA110. If it is actually the Ace 2 Pro, according to the previous leaks, up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage are installed. The 6.74-inch display has a resolution of 1.5K and is slightly curved on the sides. The 5,000 mAh battery charges with a fast 150 watts.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro also has a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel main camera (Sony IMX890). We also get an 8-megapixel ultra wide and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
