OnePlus Nord 3 and Nord Buds 2r close to launch

OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus Nord 3 5G and the new OnePlus Nord Buds 2r earphones on July 5th.

OnePlus launched the Nord Buds 2 TWS earbuds in April in India for INR 2,999 ($37/€33). The Nord Buds 2r are to follow on July 5, the price of which OnePlus has not yet announced. But according to a new rumour, we’re looking at a price tag of INR 2,299 ($28/€26) in India for the new OnePlus headphones.

OnePlus has set up a promo page on its official website. It shows the Nord Buds 2r with a similar design as the Nord Buds 2. Also, the teaser confirms the two color options – Deep Gray and Triple Blue. The next teaser is due to be released via next week. It will reveal more details about the Nord Buds 2r.

In addition, we also expect OnePlus to launch two new Nord smartphones on July 5. This includes the OnePlus Nord 3 5G. According to a new rumor, the OnePlus Nord 3 starts in two variants with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. Prices are INR 32,999 (€369/$402) and INR 36,999 (€414/$451) respectively. However, there are said to be some starting offers dropping the price of the base model of the Nord 3 to only around 31,000 INR. The smartphone will be available in green and black colors.

The OnePlus Nord 3 should be based on a 6.74-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,240 x 2,772 pixels. The aspect ratio is 20:9 and the refresh rate is 120 Hz. There is also a fingerprint sensor under the display and the OnePlus alarm slider is also on board. Android 13 with the OnePlus interface OxygenOS 13.1 is used as the operating system.

The OnePlus Nord 3 comes with a 16 megapixel front camera for selfies. We also get a 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 2 megapixel macro camera. In comparison, the Ace 2V, the base for the Nord 3, has a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS. The Dimensity 9000 chipset is also identical to the Ace 2V and can access LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Power is supplied by a 5,000 mAh battery with 80 watt charging support.
