The OnePlus Ace 3V was launched in China yesterday and rumors have been growing lately that it will be launched internationally as the OnePlus Nord 4. OnePlus also introduced new wireless earphones together with the Ace 3V. The OnePlus Buds V will most likely follow the same path and hit international markets as Nord Buds shortly after or alongside the Nord 4.

The OnePlus Buds V offer 12.4mm speakers with a titanium coating and three preset sound modes – Balanced, Deep Bass and Clear & Bright. There is also a Dolby Panoramic sound effect for 3D sound and Bluetooth 5.3 with a latency of 94 ms. The battery life is 8 hours on a single charge and 38 hours including the charging case. A one-hour charge provides five hours of use, and each earbud weighs just 4.3g. They are dust and waterproof to IP55 and are available in Sandstone White, Interstellar Blue and Shadow Black.

The touch controls on each OnePlus earbud can be used to control playback, make calls and switch between music tracks. Volume controls aren’t included by default – but you may be able to add them via the HeyMelody app. Single tap is for play/pause, double tap is for next track, triple tap is for previous track.

The OnePlus Buds V normally cost CNY 149 (€19/$20), but if you buy them alongside the Ace 3V, you’ll only pay CNY 139 (€17/$19). Given the price, the headphones could be launched internationally as the successor to the OnePlus Nord Buds CE or the Nord Buds 2r.
