The OnePlus Ace 2V will launch on March 7th with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. More technical data has come to light today. OnePlus China President Louis Li has revealed both the display size and storage options. Also, according to Li, the Ace 2V will look better and be easier to handle than its competitors.
Accordingly, the OnePlus Ace 2V has a 6.74-inch, 10-bit AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels. The refresh rate is 120 Hz and the maximum brightness is up to 1,450 nits. Li also stressed that there will be no plastic bezels around the display. This reduces the weight and both the panel and its edges would feel better in the hand.
According to the official teasers, devices in a similar price range use a slightly cheaper Dimensity 8200 chipset and LPDDR5 memory. The OnePlus Ace 2V, on the other hand, relies on the faster LPDDR5X RAM. The storage options are 12/256 GB and 16/512 GB.
According to Li, the OnePlus Ace 2V will be able to keep up with current premium smartphones in terms of looks. In addition to the narrow bezels of the frame, there are also backs made of ceramic and a sandstone surface that are reminiscent of the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Ace 2 (sold as OnePlus 11R outside of China).
