OnePlus Ace 2 Pro: up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected later this month and we’ve already seen several key details leaked. Now, in addition to further technical data on the new OnePlus cell phone, there are also some corrections. According to a post on Weibo, the smartphone will feature a 6.74-inch display with a 1.5K resolution. This is probably the same resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels as the standard Ace 2. However, the display is curved like the first Ace Pro.

It was already known that a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset drives the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. According to today’s tip, the processor can access an enormous 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage in the top configuration. If that’s the case, the new model would only be the second smartphone after the Red Magic 8S Pro+ with so much memory.

The tipster also commented on the charging speed of the 5,000 mAh battery, which should be a fast 150 watts. The original Ace Pro had a 4,800mAh battery with 150W charging. The Ace 2 had a 5,000mAh cell with 100W fast charging. According to previous rumours, the camera setup should consist of a 50 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The new report confirms these rumors and adds that it will feature a Sony IMX890 main sensor. The same sensor is used in the Ace 2 and the flagship OnePlus 11.

Incidentally, OnePlus has meanwhile slightly changed the storage options of the Ace 2. And re-released it in selected markets as the OnePlus 11R. It is currently not clear whether OnePlus will also sell the Pro variant outside of China and which model name it will have.
