The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is rumored to launch on August 16th. Accordingly, OnePlus is now bringing new teasers almost every day. The flagship killer will be based on the OnePlus 11, but will offer significantly more performance in some cases.
6.74 inch display
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will feature a 6.74-inch OLED display, which is similar to the regular Ace 2. The new model features a BOE Q9+ panel with better picture quality. The basic specs remain the same though – 120Hz refresh rate, 1240p resolution, 10-bit color support and an HDR10+ certification.

BOE’s Q9+ panels offer better and more consistent color reproduction and low-light optimizations compared to the regular Q9 displays.
150 watt charging
The 150 watt fast SuperVOOC-S charging technology from OnePlus is also on board. The 5,000 mAh battery should be fully charged in just 17 minutes. SuperVOOC S was developed in-house and is designed to save battery life despite the extremely high performance. OnePlus states a battery life of 4 years for the Ace 2 Pro battery. Normally this means that the battery still has at least 80% of its original capacity after 4 years of use.

In addition to SuperVOOC S mode, the adapter can also deliver up to 45 watts of charging power via USB Power Delivery. Interestingly, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is also the first OnePlus smartphone to support the alternative UFCS protocol – Universal Fast Charging Specification. UFCS was developed by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology in collaboration with Oppo, vivo, Xiaomi and Huawei. The companies want to create greater compatibility between their proprietary fast charging solutions.
24GB RAM
Finally, OnePlus has also officially confirmed that the Ace 2 Pro will have 24 GB of RAM under the hood. Depending on the variant, there is also up to 1 TB of integrated storage. There’s also a 16GB RAM version that could have 256GB or 512GB of storage.
With the reveal only four days away, there shouldn’t be many more leaks and teasers until Wednesday.
