OnePlus has released a new, official teaser for the upcoming OnePlus 11R. Further technical data came to light. The rest will be revealed when the smartphone launches on February 7 alongside the OnePlus 11 and other products. According to the teaser, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will power the 11R, the same chip like in the OnePlus 10T. The new flagship OnePlus 11, on the other hand, relies on the currently fastest Android processor – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The OnePlus 11R features a vapor chamber cooling system that is seemingly identical to that in the OnePlus 10T and about 64% larger than that of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Up to 16 GB RAM is possible. The teaser doesn’t mention other storage options, but there will very likely be some. A new feature called RAM-Vita uses machine learning and AI functions to accelerate memory reallocation between uses.

The OnePlus 11R also sports a 120Hz LTPS LCD display. The panel can change its refresh rates between 40, 45, 60, 90, and 120Hz, which feels a bit random. There is no content running at 40 or 45 Hz. Default values of 48 and 50 Hz would have provided better frame matching for 24, 25 and 50 fps video content. The OnePlus smartphone also features 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. With this, the 5,000mAh battery can charge to 100% in 25 minutes.
OnePlus will annouce more details, pricing and availability on February 7th. The launch of the OnePlus 11R will also bring the OnePlus 11, OnePlus Pad, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro TV to light.
