The Nothing Phone (2) will be released on July 11th. Shortly before the launch, the smartphone has now appeared on the benchmarking service Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is not a big surprise. Nothing CEO Carl Pei had already officially confirmed the processor in May. Pei also revealed the reasons for choosing this chip, which you can read here.

The Nothing Phone (2) from the benchmark tests ran Android 13 and had 12 GB of RAM under the hood. The database currently shows two tests. In the first run, the cell phone scored 1,733 single and 4,207 multi-core points. The second run ended with 1,739 points in the single-core test and 3,983 points in the multi-core test. Both test results fit well with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is still one of the top chipsets on the market.

Nothing has not yet commented on the technical data of the Phone (2) in detail. However, the young brand from London has already confirmed that the smartphone will have a 6.7-inch display and a 4,700 mAh battery. Also, Nothing has already promised three major Android OS updates and four years of security patches. In addition, there will be a gray version for the first time.

In a recent video, YouTuber Marques Brownlee, aka MKBHD, just revealed the Nothing Phone (2) design and updated Glyph interface. The matching black Nothing Ear (2) earphones were also just launched.
