According to MySmartPrice, the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will be aimed at a slightly different target group than its predecessor. While the Nothing Phone (1) is a mid-range phone, the successor will likely be a flagship device, or at least fall into the flagship killer category.

The first report points to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 series chipset. The start is therefore expected to be in the second half of 2023. In addition to the previous 8 Gen 2 processor, the Snaddragon 8+ Gen 2 would also be an option. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 came in the second half of 2022. The official announcement took place in May.

Whatever CPU it is, in the Nothing Phone (2) it should work together with up to 12 GB of RAM and at least 256 GB of internal memory. The display is based on OLED technology and delivers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

Apart from that, the report reveals no further technical data. But since we’re still months away from the release, more leaks and reports will surely fill in the gaps soon.
