The Nothing Phone (2) is set to break into the premium segment this year with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Accordingly, fans of the brand should expect a significant jump in price. Thanks to a leak from France, there are now concrete numbers. Accordingly, Nothing will call 729 euros for the model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. According to the tip, the 12/512 GB version costs 849 euros.

The introductory price of the Nothing Phone (1) was a comparatively low at 469 euros for the entry-level model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The new price is almost twice as high, so it’s safe to assume that we’re in for a lot more upgrades than just the chipset.

Nothing has also developed a new cable design for the Phone (2). The cable itself is still white, but the two USB-C connectors on either end are made of clear plastic on top of a gray material with the Nothing logo. In addition, you can see six small circles on the ports, but they are probably only for the optics. The new design goes well with the reduced aesthetics of the company, which has already presented several headphones.

The Nothing Phone (2) will be presented on July 11th. The company has already confirmed that its second smartphone will get a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. We’ll also see a 4,700 mAh battery alongside the SD 8+ Gen 1. There will also be three operating system updates and four years of security patches.
