In addition to the Nothing Phone (2), Carl Pei’s Nothing company is also preparing to launch a pair of new headphones. Last October, the brand introduced the Nothing Ear (stick), and now it seems a new model is on the way. Fresh pictures show the design of the Nothing Ear (2) in all its glory. The new earphones are expected to be launched in the second half of 2023.

The optical changes compared to the Nothing Ear (1) seem to be minimal. The transparent body is also still there – the only really obvious change is an “Ear (2)” branding on the stem of the buds instead of the Nothing logo. However, Nothing installed a new microphone for active noise cancellation (ANC) on the back of the Ear (2). In addition to the similar design, nothing seems to have not changed the in-ear shape either.

According to rumors, the Nothing Ear (2) will support dual connectivity, so you can connect to two devices at the same time. There will also be personalized active noise cancellation, allowing you to fine-tune the strength of the ANC. Finally, Nothing adds an advanced equalizer to further personalize the sound.
