Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition
In addition to the Xiaomi 13 series, new augmented reality (AR) glasses also appeared at the MWC – the Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition. This is a concept for wireless smart glasses. You can connect the 3D glasses directly to your smartphone without any cables or dongles. However, nothing works without a connection, since the Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition has no integrated memory.

The glasses have two micro-OLED displays with a light-conducting prism module that outputs content to the eyes. Peak brightness is 1,200 nits per eye. Xiaomi has integrated three cameras to capture the user’s environment for mixed reality.
Just like the Meta Quest Pro, the Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition features a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 1 chipset and supports the Snapdragon Spaces XR developer platform. Xiaomi has also developed its own AR gesture control with spatial recognition for precise control and operation. The latency is only 50 ms, which according to Xiaomi corresponds to a conventional AR/VR wired headset.
ZTE reveals first details of the nubia Z50 Ultra camera system
The nubia Z50 Ultra will be unveiled on March 7th. Also on board is the latest under-display camera technology from ZTE, about which the Chinese manufacturer revealed new details today. The main camera will have an equivalent focal length of 35mm, while the 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens will come in at 85mm. Both lenses are stabilized by OIS.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, it uses the same main camera as the nubia Z50 – a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 sensor behind an f/1.6 lens. There is also a 50 megapixel ultra wide with a focal length of 14 mm. Previous rumors point to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The AMOLED display should measure 6.8 inches and feature a resolution of 2,480 x 1,116 pixels.
OnePlus Foldable is coming in Q3 2023
OnePlus today officially confirmed that the company’s first foldable will be released in the third quarter of 2023.

“Our first foldable phone will have the signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience. It must be a flagship phone that doesn’t settle because of its folding form, in terms of industrial design, mechanical technology, and other aspects. We want to launch a device that aims to be at the pinnacle experience of today’s foldable market.”
Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus
Speaking to TechCrunch, Liu indicated that the foldable phone will have the form factor of a book. Accordingly, we are more likely to expect a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 (review) than a Galaxy Z Flip4 (review). Whether this will be a brand new device or perhaps a modified and rebranded version of the Oppo Find N2 remains to be seen.
OnePlus has not revealed much more. The only official teaser so far is the image above from the global launch of the OnePlus 11, which narrows the launch window down to Q3 2023.
