Apple iPhones get Google Fi 5G support
If you live in America and use Google Fi as your provider on your Apple iPhone, we have some good news today. With the latest iOS 16.4 version, the iPhones finally get 5G support in the Fi network. Previously, Google Fi subscribers could only use T-Mobile’s 4G network.
Of course, you still need at least an Apple iPhone 12 or higher to connect to a 5G network. You also have to activate “5G Auto” in the settings under Cellular Data Options. New features for Google Fi have been slow to hit iPhone users in the past. For example, Google has only recently activated the integrated VPN functionality and eSIM cards for Apple devices.
Oppo Find N3 gets bigger display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset
The Oppo Find N2 was launched in December last year. Now the first rumors about its successor are slowly trickling in – the Oppo Find N3. According to the leak, the Find N3 will get a larger 8-inch main display with a resolution of 2,268 x 2,440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Oppo Find N3 is also expected to bring two selfie cameras – one for the cover display and one in the main display. The corresponding resolutions should be 20 and 32 megapixels. On the back, Oppo installs a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS, as well as a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultra-wide and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with a sensor called L07D1W22. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 takes over the drive together with a 4,805 mAh battery. The new leak also mentions an ultra-thin design for the Find N3, but doesn’t go into details.
