Motorola Edge+ (2023) appears in Google Play Console

Motorola’s next flagship called Edge+ (2023) has appeared in the Google Play Console, what brought some technical data to light. According to this, the Motorola Edge+ (2023) has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and at least one version has 12 GB of RAM under the hood.

The upcoming Motorola phone will serve as the successor to last year’s Edge+ (2022), which was limited to the American market. The Motorola Edge+ (2023) will also have an FHD+ resolution display and will start with Android 13. As usual with Moto, the MyUX interface is probably also on board.

The Motorola Edge+ (2023) is expected to be launched as the US version of the Moto X40. The X40 was presented exclusively for the Chinese market shortly before Christmas.

OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Edition is coming on March 29th

The first teaser for the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Edition came out last week. The OnePlus phone is based on the OnePlus 11 but features an exclusive 3D microcrystalline back inspired by the minerals found on the rings of Jupiter. Now, OnePlus China has confirmed that the Jupiter Rock Edition will launch in China on March 29 at 2:30 p.m. Beijing time.

OnePlus also shared some details about the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Edition on its Weibo profile. The development process took one year and OnePlus had to set up a new, self-developed production line for the special back material. The yield rate of the new back material is reportedly only 50% compared to traditional glass back smartphones.

Each new OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Edition features a unique pattern. In addition, each of the smartphones gets a customer-specific packaging.

Vivo X Flip completes Google Play certification

vivo’s first flip phone has been popping up on the internet more and more lately. This is also the case today: A new Google Play certification has revealed the official name – the new clamshell phone will, unsurprisingly, be called vivo X Flip. The same could already be observed at Samsung with the Galaxy Z Flip4 and at Oppo with the Find N2 Flip. The only flip currently that doesn’t have that name seems to be the Motorola Razr 2022.

Also, the vivo X Flip has already been spotted in Geekbench’s online database, revealing a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 12GB of RAM. A recent 3C certification also showed that the X Flip charges at 44 watts.

According to a previous rumor, the vivo smartphone will feature a 6.8-inch main display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz. There’s a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 4,400mAh battery. The launch is scheduled for April in China.
