Recently there has been some confusion about the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 with two conflicting reports on its specs. Now the new CE model faces a similar fate. Leaked AIDA64 screenshots revealed some specs back in January, but now a new OnePlus Nord CE 3 report draws a different picture.
Accordingly, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 gets a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. The last report pointed to an LCD panel. Also, according to MySmartPrice sources, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 782G chipset instead of a Snapdragon 695. The chipset will be paired with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage.
A 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor is now being discussed for the main camera instead of a 108-megapixel sensor. There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel macro camera, as well as a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Finally, the sources assume a 5,000 mAh battery that charges with a fast 80 watts.
OnePlus Nord 3 with similar specs?
Last month there was also a leak on the specifications of the OnePlus Nord 3 (without Core Edition). At the time, there was talk of a Dimensity 9000 chipset, a 6.72-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and the same 50/8/2-megapixel camera setup. Just like from a 5,000 mAh battery with 80 watt charging. Apart from the chipset, the whole thing sounds pretty much like the Core Edition. That being said, the OnePlus Ace 2V will also run on the Dimensity 9000. However, it is quite unlikely that the 2V and the Nord 3 will be identical.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to be unveiled in July, with the Nord 3 set to launch around the same time. The two OnePlus smartphones may also share the same launch event. The Ace 2V, on the other hand, will be unveiled on March 7th (Tuesday).
