According to current rumors, Motorola is about to launch two new foldables. Thanks to a Geekbench test, some technical data of the base model have now been confirmed. The device showed up on Geekbench as the Motorola Razr+ 2023 with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 8GB of RAM. The data match the previous leaks and also indicate two models.

The Motorola Razr+ archieved a single-core score of 1,702 and a multi-core score of 4,073 points, which matches the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 well. Android 13 is listed as the operating system, presumably with Motorola’s MyUX interface. In addition to two 12-megapixel main cameras, the Motorola smartphone will also have a 32-megapixel selfie camera in a punch hole on the inside. The battery reportedly has a capacity of 3,640 mAh and charges at 33 watts.

In addition, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is still simmering in the rumor mill. It already appeared in official-looking promotional materials including prices last week. Actually, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset was a safe bet for the top model. Instead, today’s leak also assumes a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. With that, the main differentiator between the two models would be the front display. The main competitor, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, which will be launched in July, will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will come with a 120 or 144 Hz AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,640 pixels. The 3.5-inch external display has a resolution of 1,056 x 1,066 pixels. There will be up to 512GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM. We also get a dual SIM variant, an eSIM version, NFC on all models and of course a fingerprint sensor. The main cameras are a 12-megapixel wide with a Sony IMX563 sensor and a 13-megapixel ultrawide with an SK Hynix Hi1336 sensor. In the main display there is a 32 megapixel selfie camera with an OmniVision OV32B40 sensor.

The Razr 40 Ultra will reportedly come to market in black, blue and “Barberry”. According to a previous report, the battery is also identical at 3,640 mAh and also charges at the same 33 watts.
