The upcoming Motorola Moto G84 is slated to launch in India on September 1st. While waiting for the official launch, the phone has already appeared on the brand’s Indian website today.
The Motorola Moto G84 is based on a 6.5 inch pOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The 16 megapixel front camera is located in a punch hole in the middle. On the back is the 50 megapixel main camera with an f/1.88 aperture, 1.0 µm pixels and optical image stabilization. There is also an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens, which also serves as a macro camera.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset takes over the drive, which can access 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The storage can also be expanded via a microSD slot. The Moto phone starts Android 13 with Motorola’s MyUX interface. Motorola promises one update to Android 14 and three years of security patches. The smartphone also has a 5,000 mAh battery with 30 watt fast charging. Other extras include Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IP54 rating.
The Motorola Moto G84 will be available in Marshmallow Blue, Midnight Blue and Viva Magenta colors. The latter has a vegan leather back. The only remaining question marks concern pricing and availability. We will know more when the announcement is made next week at the latest.
