Motorola today released the Moto E13 and four new smartphones from the Moto G series. We will cover the Moto G23, Moto G13 and Moto E13 in this post, while the Moto G53 and G73 will be featured in a separate post.
Motorola Moto G23 and Moto G13
The Motorola Moto G23 and Moto G13 share the same 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The pair also offers stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and is equipped with a headphone jack. The Moto G23 has the better 16-megapixel front camera, while the G13 has to make do with an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Motorola Moto G13
Both Motorola smartphones share the same 50-megapixel main camera sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and 0.64 µm pixels. The Moto G23 also has a 5 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The G13 shares the 2 megapixel macro camera and also gets a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
Motorola Moto G23
The Motorola Moto G23 and G13 are respectively powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipsets with 4/8 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage. There is also a microSD slot for storage expansion. The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh each. However, the Moto G23 charges with 30 watts, while the Moto G13 only supports 20 watts. Both devices boot Android 13.
The Moto G23 is available in the colors Matte Charcoal, Pearl White and Steel Blue and costs 230 euros ($250) in Europe. The Moto G13 is available in Matte Charcoal, Blue Lavender and Rose Gold colors with a retail price of 180 euros ($196).
Motorola Moto E13
The more affordable Moto E13 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz. The 5-megapixel front camera sits in a waterdrop notch. On the back is a single 13-megapixel main camera.
Motorola Moto E13
The Motorola Moto E13 is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset, which can access 2/4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There is also a microSD slot for expansion. The 5,000 mAh battery supports quite slow 10 watts charging. The operating system is the Android 13 Go edition.
The Motorola Moto E13 is available in Cosmic Black, Aurora Green and Creamy White colors. The price in Europe is 120 euros ($131). Other planned markets include the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
