Motorola Edge 50 Pro in Geekbench test with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will launch in India on April 3 via Flipkart. Accordingly, new leaks, rumors and teasers about the upcoming Motorola flagship are coming every day. A prototype has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmark platform and has passed the test in version 6.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro achieved a single-core score of 1,097 points and a multi-core score of 3,114 with its Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Geekbench also reveals 12 GB of RAM and Android 14 as the operating system. While the results match the chip, Motorola is touting the X50 Ultra in China with the brand new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. So the Edge 50 Pro with its 7 Gen 3 doesn’t just seem to be a renamed Chinese X50 Ultra.

On a specially created teaser microsite, Motorola has already revealed that the Edge 50 Pro has a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel is also Pantone certified, has a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits and has an integrated fingerprint sensor. The main camera on the back has a resolution of 50 megapixels.
