Motorola introduced the Edge 50 Pro earlier this month and just followed up with the Edge 50 Ultra. The Ultra offers the more powerful chipset, better cameras and a larger battery. Now the third device in the series is here. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is said to be the “balanced” model in the portfolio.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion features a 6.7-inch curved P-OLED display with an FHD+ resolution. The devices sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa offer a 144Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. In Latin America you get a 120 Hz panel and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 instead. Both versions have a 5,000 mAh battery that charges with 68 watt TurboPower. There is also up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage on board.

There are two cameras on the back of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. There’s a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.88 aperture, 1.0μm pixels and OIS based on the Sony LYT-700C sensor. The second lens is a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera that doubles as a macro lens. On the front there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera in a punchhole.

The Edge 50 Fusion launches Android 14 with Motorola’s Hello UX as its user interface. Hello UX includes generative AI capabilities for customized wallpapers and Motorola Smart Connect for seamless integration and continuity features with Lenovo PCs and notebooks. There’s also Moto AI, which can adjust shutter speed in the camera app, handle autofocus tracking, and optimize highlights, shadows, and colors in photos.

The Edge 50 Fusion is also IP68 certified. Both the color profiles of the display and the cameras are Pantone validated. Color options include Forest Blue, Marshmallow Blue and Hot Pink. Prices in Europe start at 349 euros.
