Yesterday, Motorola announced that it was launching a new smartphone on April 3rd, but didn’t reveal the name. The upcoming smartphone was suspected to be the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, which surfaced last week. A new leak today brings another model into play instead – the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.

This is unlikely to change the start date at the beginning of April. According to Blass, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, codenamed Cusco, is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and has 256GB of storage. There is also a 6.7-inch pOLED display and a 5,000 mAh battery with 68 watts of charging power. Protection against water and dust in accordance with the IP68 class is also on board.

In addition, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has a 50 megapixel main camera and a 32 megapixel selfie camera. The Motorola phone is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and is available in three colors: Peacock Pink, Ballad Blue (with vegan leather) and Tidal Teal.
