Motorola Edge 50, 50 Pro and 50 Fusion arrive on April 16th

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Ultra are about to officially launch worldwide on April 16th.

Motorola will finally fully unveil its Edge 50 series on April 16th. The company announced the good news in an X-teaser. The event is likely to bring a trio of Edge 50 smartphones. The first member has already debuted in India – the Motorola Edge 50 Pro – which is also coming to Europe on April 16th.

The technical highlights of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro include a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. There are three cameras – a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset together with a 4,500 mAh battery that charges with 125 watts via cable and 50 watts wirelessly. The price is €699 ($752).

The other new model is the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, which is also based on a 6.7-inch display. The 5,000 mAh battery charges with 68 watts, is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, and there is also a dual camera setup. The price should be around $300 (€279).

In addition, the flagship of the series is still waiting. That’s the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with the new chipset for flagship killers – the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The camera setup consists of three 50 megapixel lenses – a wide angle, a 12 mm ultra wide angle and a 72 mm-3x periscope zoom. The 6.7-inch OLED display has a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The Edge 50 Ultra could start as Motorola Edge+ 2024 or Edge Ultra 2024 in the USA and cost $999 (€928).
