Smartphone manufacturer Meizu, which is part of the car manufacturer Geely, announced a new smartphone today. The device is called Meizu 20 Classic and has three different colors and 16 GB of RAM. Apart from that, the Classic version is largely identical to the normal model.

Accordingly, the Meizu 20 Classic is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and has a 6.55-inch OLED display. The panel has a Full HD+ resolution and delivers a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. It also houses a 32 megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

On the back there is an LED ring flash alongside a 50-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The battery capacity of the Meizu 20 Classic is 4,700 mAh and charging goes up to 67 watts. The 4,000 mm² vapor chamber is also still on board, just like Meizu’s skin Flyme 10 based on Android 13. It also supports expanded integration with selected vehicles with the manufacturer’s Flyme Auto system.

The new colors are green, iron gray and white. Unlike the previous options, these feature a polished back with a stylized Meizu logo. The Meizu 20 Classic costs CNY 3,099 (€400/$424) for the 16/256GB version or CNY 3,399 (€438/$465) with 16/512GB storage. Sales are already underway on the company’s website and through selected retail partners in China.
