According to the well-known Apple analyst Mark Gurman, new Apple MacBook Air models are coming in the summer. Gurman anticipates a new MacBook Air 13 and Air 15, both of which will feature upcoming M3 chipsets. A few new iMacs are also on the horizon, as well as a Mac Pro with a new design.

The new Apple MacBook Air models will likely be announced sometime this spring or summer. Gurman suspects that both versions of the notebook will already run on the new M3 chipset. However, you can only count on the entry-level models. The more powerful M3 Pro and M3 Max will not be on the market before 2024 and thanks to the improved 3nm manufacturing process they will bring significantly more performance and efficiency.
The upcoming Mac Pro and new iMac will also get significant upgrades. The M2 Ultra chip with 24 CPU cores, 76 GPU cores and up to 192 GB of RAM will power the Mac Pro. The iMac, on the other hand, is expected to already have the new M3 under the hood, as will the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air notebooks. However, the Mac Pro will be presented together with the updated MacBooks.
The standard iMacs with 24-inch displays are also about to be upgraded. In doing so, Gurman predicts major changes to the internal design. In addition to the new Apple M series processors, the internal components and layout have also changed. He’s also expecting a new stand. A launch date in the second half of 2024 is the most likely scenario.
Last but not least, a new iPad Pro with the M3 chip and an OLED display is also planned.
