The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro 5G was launched in 2021 and now the Chinese are pushing the base model almost two years later. The base P12 has a 12.7-inch LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 1,840 x 2,944 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The tablet also has a 13-megapixel ultrawide front camera, an 8-megapixel main camera with auto focus and quad speakers tuned by JBL.
A Dimensity 7050 chipset from MediaTek takes over the drive. It can access 4 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The Lenovo Tab P12 also features a microSD slot and a 10,200mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The software side is covered by Android 13. Lenovo promises two major operating system upgrades and four years of security patches. In addition, Lenovo’s Tab Pen Plus stylus is included in the box.
The Lenovo Tab P12 is available in Storm Gray and Oat colors and costs €400/£350. The variant with a keyboard cover is slightly more expensive at 500 euros. Additionally, Lenovo also announced pricing details for its Tab M10 5G. The M10 launched in India earlier this month with a Snapdragon 695 chipset. The Lenovo tablet is sold for 400 euros and will also be available in Europe from August.
