Today, a first hands-on image was leaked on Weibo, China’s equivalent of Twitter / X. It is supposedly from the basic version. At the same time, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has released details about the color variants of the iQOO 12.

The iQOO 12 is said to be offered in black and white with glass backs, as well as a red vegan leather variant. As you can see in the picture, the camera island is quite large. According to previous leaks, iQOO has a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.28-inch OmniVision OV50H sensor and optical image stabilization. Finally, a 50 megapixel Samsung JN1 chip powers the ultra wide camera.

There have also been rumors in the past that the iQOO 12 would have a display with a 2K resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Certification also revealed a 4,880 mAh battery with support for fast 120 watt wired charging. It is expected to be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
