According to a leaked screenshot, Huawei will launch the P70 series today – April 2nd. The image appeared on Weibo and other leaks quickly followed, including key technical data for the entire series. According to a user, there will be at least four variants – the Huawei P70, P70 Pro, P70 Pro+ and P70 Art. We cannot verify whether these specifications and images are real and the sources usually familiar with Huawei are so far silent on the matter. Therefore, you should initially treat the information with caution.

All Huawei P70 models are said to have Kirin 9000S chipsets based on SMIC’s 7nm process technology. However, an investigation is currently underway to determine whether the manufacturer violated United States export regulations. The base model also features a 6.58-inch LTPO OLED display and a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.3-inch OV50H sensor. The battery size is 5,000 mAh and prices for the 12/512 GB model are CNY 4,999 (€643/$700).

The Huawei P70 Pro, Pro+ and Art instead have 6.76-inch LTPO OLED displays and slightly larger batteries. The two top models also switch to Sony IMX989 sensors with 1 inch size and 50 megapixel resolution. The charging speed for all models is 88 watts per cable. The base version charges wirelessly with 50 watts and the remaining models with 80 watts. Incidentally, a launch in April had already been leaked in an earlier report.
