The Huawei Mate X3 is coming March 23 alongside the P60 series. Thanks to a well-known tipster, the most important technical data have already appeared today. According to Digital Chat Station, the Mate X3 will have a 7.8-inch main display with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The outer display is 6.45 inches and is based on AMOLED technology. The new report goes with a tip from last Saturday.

DCS also commented on the camera setup. Accordingly, the main camera resolves 50 megapixels on a Sony IMX766 sensor. In addition, a periscope telephoto camera should be on board, which no other foldable has offered so far – except for the predecessor Mate X2. In addition, according to the tip, the Huawei Mate X3 is IPX8 waterproof. The latter currently only offers the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 (review) in the foldable segment.
The Mate X3 will also bring a new hinge. This should support the opening of the Huawei cell phone at different angles. There is a 4,800 mAh battery that charges at 66 watts via cable. In addition, wireless charging is on board for the first time in the Mate X series. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset has already been confirmed. With this processor and 12 GB of RAM, the foldable recently paid a visit to the benchmarking service Geekbench.
