Huawei launched the Mate 60 series without much fanfare, and you can already buy the two variants in China. Now a third family member is on the way and just showed up in the first leak. The Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ is in the starting blocks and has just appeared in the first Chinese online databases. It comes with 16GB of RAM and two storage options – 512GB or 1TB. The starting price is said to be 8,999 CNY, equivalent to €1,150/$1,231.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ should be the top model of the range with a powerful quad-camera setup on the back. There used to be a regular Porsche Design edition of the Huawei Mate phones. Instead, Huawei will bring an RS Ultimate Design version of the new model with even higher quality materials for a corresponding surcharge.
The Mate 60 Pro has three cameras on the back. This includes a 50 megapixel wide camera with a variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/4.0 and OIS. The same camera is already known from the Mate 50 Pro and P60 Pro. The ultra-wide camera has a 12-megapixel sensor and an f/2.2 lens. The 48-megapixel telephoto camera has a large f/3.0 aperture and also optical image stabilization. The fourth camera of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ should therefore be a periscope telephoto camera with at least 5x optical zoom.
So far, there is no official information as to whether Huawei will launch one of these phones outside of China.
