Today, HTC presented another entry-level cell phone with the Wildfire E Star. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ resolution LCD display and a waterdrop notch for the 5-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera. It is powered by a Unisoc SC9832E chipset in combination with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage.


The dual SIM cell phone also has a microSD card slot for memory expansion by up to 256 GB. On the back of the Wildfire E Star there is an 8 megapixel main camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and autofocus and a QVGA sensor with 0.08 megapixels, a fixed focus and an aperture of f/2.8. You also get an LED flash and 1080p video recording.
The HTC Wildfire E Star is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, which charges via the USB-C port with a whopping 5 watts. Android 12 Go Edition is used as the operating system. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There is no information on prices and availability yet.
