The latest Honor X series smartphone has just been launched in the UK – the Honor X6a is here. The cell phone is a direct successor to the Honor X6 launched in September. There have been several updates, though, including a higher refresh rate display, a larger battery, and faster charging.

The Honor X6a is based on a 6.56-inch TFT-LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The smartphone has a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage . Storage is expandable via a microSD card slot and the X6a also features a 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the back there is a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Android 13 with Honor’s Magic UI 7.1 interface is used as the operating system. The battery has a capacity of 5,200 mAh and supports charging speeds of up to 22.5 watts.
The Honor X6a is available in Cyan Lake and Midnight Black colors at launch. Prices start at £130 (€152/$167) in the UK for the only 4/128GB version available. However, Honor is currently offering an early picture promotion that gives you a discount of £10.
