The Honor X50 was officially launched today with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 108MP main camera and a 5,800mAh battery. In addition, the X50i comes with a Dimensity 6020 chipset, a 100 megapixel main camera and a 90 Hz LCD display.
The Honor X50 features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,200 x 2,652 pixels. The refresh rate is a fast 120 Hz, and there is also a punch hole for the 8 megapixel front camera. The 108 megapixel main camera with an f/1.75 aperture is accompanied by a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which accesses up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The Honor smartphone launches MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 and packs a 5,800mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It’s IP53 water and dust resistant and available in black, blue, orange, and gradient colors.
The Honor X50 costs 1,399 CNY (€178/$193) for the 8/128 GB version, rising to 1,999 CNY (€254/$276) for the 16/512 GB versions. Open sale in China begins July 14.
The Honor X50i is based on a flat 6.7-inch LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Here sits a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset with 8/12 GB RAM and 256 GB Storage at the helm. The main camera has a resolution of 100 megapixels with an f/1.9 aperture. And the 2 megapixel depth sensor is also on board.
The software side is also covered by MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 on the Honor X50i. The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and also supports 33 watts of fast charging.
The Honor X50i is available in black, blue, pink and gradient colors. The price starts at 1,379 CNY (€175/$190) for the 8/256 GB model. The 12/256 GB variant is 1,679 CNY (€213/$232).
Honor also introduced the Play 40 and the Pad X8 Pro today.
