The Honor Magic Vs2 wasn’t the only new launch today. The Chinese have also presented their latest smartwatch, the Honor Watch 4 Pro. The Watch 4 Pro features a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with Always-on Display (AOD) functionality, a sleek stainless steel frame, and eSIM support with LTE connectivity.
The Honor Watch is waterproof up to 50 meters and is therefore suitable for swimming in pools. It also has GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 5.2. With the integrated speaker and microphone you can make calls directly on your wrist and stream music directly from the watch to wireless headphones. Honor’s MagicOS 7.2 is used as the operating system.
Honor also includes an eight-channel optical sensor in the Watch 4 Pro that tracks heart rate and SpO2 values. In addition, the smartwatch supports sleep and stress tracking as well as all common sports. The battery has a capacity of 480 mAh, which Honor says will last for up to 10 days of normal use and up to 3 days of use in eSIM mode. Wireless charging is supported up to 4.5 watts.
The Honor Watch 4 Pro is available in black, brown and dark green. Prices start at CNY 1,599 (€208/$220) for the silicone strap version. The leather version costs CNY 1,799 (€234/$246). Open sales in China begin on October 16th. Honor has not yet announced any international release plans.
