Honor has introduced the Magic Vs2 with a new magnesium alloy frame and a newly developed Luban titanium hinge. This reduces the weight of the foldable to just 229 grams. This is even lighter than the Magic V2 with its 231 grams and is sometimes even less than the weight of the latest flagship smartphones.

The Honor Magic Vs2 is also remarkably thin: 10.7mm when folded and just 5.1mm when unfolded. On the front, Honor installs a 6.43-inch LTPO OLED cover display with a resolution of 1,060 x 2,376 pixels, a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. In addition, the external display achieves a brightness of up to 2,500 nits.

The 7.9-inch LTPO OLED main display also refreshes at 1-120Hz and opens to a nearly square 9.8:9 aspect ratio. Both panels support HDR10+ and have 16-megapixel selfie cameras housed in punchholes. The Honor smartphone also supports pen input on both the external and internal screens.

The Honor Magic Vs2 is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage. The cameras, on the other hand, have also been revised. In addition to a 50 megapixel main camera, there is also a 12 megapixel ultra wide and a 20 megapixel telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom on board.

MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13 takes over the software side. However, there are various improvements to accommodate the larger display. This includes split-screen multitasking, opening two instances of the same app side by side, and Free Hoover mode, which splits the two halves of the screen into keyboard and app. Honor has also managed to install a 5,000 mAh battery with 66 watt wired fast charging support in the Magic Vs2.

Honor Magic Vs2 prices
