Honor’s IFA 2023 keynote brought some exciting topics. While the Honor Magic V2 and the V Purse were the big highlights, the Chinese also introduced a new color for the Honor 90 – Peacock Blue. The Honor smartphone was recently named “Best Buy Smartphone 2023-2024” by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). The new color option is now Honor’s way of celebrating this event. The series launched in China back in May with three color options: black, silver and green.
Peacock Blue features a mix of yellow, orange and light blue colors and a frosted glass back. The camera rings also feature blue elements with a glossy coating. The price remains at €550/£450 for the 8/256GB version and €600/£500 for the 12/512GB variant. The start at partner dealers throughout Europe should be imminent.
Honor 90 celebrates comeback in India
In addition, the brand that used to belong to Huawei is about to make a comeback in India. The Chinese also rely on the Honor 90 as a driving force and flagship on the subcontinent. Again, launch should be imminent – there’s already a dedicated page on Amazon India for the new model.
The series initially consisted of the Honor 90 and the 90 Pro. There is also the Honor 90 Lite, which was launched in China in June. However, the Lite is not yet available in other markets.
