Honor has introduced another and tends to be the last model of the 70 series: the Honor 70 Lite is here. The new addition comes as a bit of a surprise considering the Honor 80 series has been out for months. As the name suggests, this is the entry-level model with several differences to the normal 70 to keep the price down.

The Honor 70 Lite is equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT-LCD display with an HD+ resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels). The maximum refresh rate is 90 Hz. On the front, an 8-megapixel selfie camera works in a waterdrop notch. The back houses a 50-megapixel main camera, additionally you get a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset takes over the drive. It can access 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of integrated storage. The software side is covered by Magic UI 6.1, but unfortunately still based on Android 12. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and charges at 22.5 watts. The 70 Lite also brings a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack and support for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless.
The Honor 70 Lite comes in Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue, and Midnight Black colors. Prices start at £199.99 ($229/€245) in the UK.
