The Honor 100 series will be released on November 23rd, the company announced today on Chinese social network Weibo. The base model and the 100 Pro will have 50 megapixel main cameras with OIS. The camera module itself has a pretty unique design.

The Honor smartphones are already listed at all major retailers in China. When it comes to technical data and prices, the shops are still keeping a low profile. To promote the Honor 100 series, the Chinese have once again recruited local celebrities. Popular Asian actor Yang Yang will once again be the brand ambassador, as with the last models in the Honor 90 series.

Honor’s number series is generally intended for the upper mid-range smartphones. However, the first Honor 100 model has already been certified with 100 watt charging support, which is even faster than the current flagships Honor Magic5 Pro and Magic V2. Another rumor suggested a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset for the 100 Pro, which is less surprising. The predecessor Honor 90 Pro came onto the market with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in summer.
There are still around ten days until the official launch in China. Enough time for more teasers about the two models.
