As became clear yesterday, Google seems to be barely able to contain its excitement for the upcoming Pixel phones. Be it by publishing them on their own website or showing very informative teaser videos. The day before yesterday there were two of them. One of which also showed a few brief glimpses of the Google Pixel Watch 2. The other, on the other hand, presented the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro from all possible angles.
Anyone who would have preferred to spend a few more seconds and details with the new Pixel Watch 2 instead will now get their money’s worth. Google has also released a very similar video for its upcoming smartwatch. After the “Sneak Peek at Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro” video from the day before yesterday, there is now a “Sneak Peek at Google Pixel Watch 2”.
In the new video it is again noticeable that the similarity to the first generation Pixel Watch is definitely undeniable. In addition to a slight redesign of the crown, the only obvious innovation is the “IP68” lettering on the back. Which means that the Google smartwatch is also protected from dust, unlike its predecessor.
The Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2 will be officially launched on October 4th at a special event in New York. Pre-orders begin the same day.
