Google has released a new episode of its “#BestPhonesForever” video series. The new promotional video is a “scary story” about how wonderful and AI-filled the upcoming launch of the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro on October 4th will be.

That is, in comparison to the Apple iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, which in the video talks to a Google Pixel 7 Pro about the upcoming launch. According to its own opinion, the iPhone only got “a different mute button, a dynamic-er island, and a new charging port”. It is therefore nervous about the prospect that the Google Pixel 8 Pro could be more innovative and bring “the best AI”.

According to the iPhone, people could only talk about the new Pixel phones and their “eye-catching design.” When you consider that like every year in 2023, people lined up in front of Apple Stores in several countries to get an iPhone 15 Pro and especially Pro Max, you can smile a little about the story.

The bottom line is that the only issue that remains is AI, in which Apple would probably actually admit that Google is ahead of its own software. At least the fate of the third protagonist of the video does not seem to be a threat in the foreseeable future. The design and therefore the origin cannot be clearly identified, but we are guessing that it originated somewhere in the far north of Europe.
